I studied Music at Bryn Mawr College and Haverford College and worked in the Education Department at the Metropolitan Opera Guild before pursuing graduate studies in Psychology. I earned an M.A. in Developmental Psychology from Columbia University in New York City, and then earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the City University of New York, where I trained in child, adolescent, and adult psychotherapy.
